After hearing so much about this for years, I just recently got into this show. It's really got the meta game down pat, and while I can see how it can be divisive, I'm hooked.

One of the best shows I've ever watched. I never miss it, and I always dvr the episode, so I can go back and check for things in the background and such, because you never know what off the wall shenanigans are being pulled as a set up for the future. I'm also very happy to see one of the first threads in the new section is about this show.

I've tried twice to watch this and just can't. I just don't find it funny or entertaining.

I saw it the first time in passing, thinking I'd hate it. Then I realized it was clever, and not only that, there's some serious emotional pulls too. The Unity episode gets me everytime. I really enjoy the show, despite how popular it is.

Didn't know this was supposed to be looking like Back to the Future Micheal J Fox and Christopher Lloyd, but know that know that it makes the show even better for me👍

The breaks in between seasons (and during the season itself) is probably the worst part. I mean, the series started in 2013 and we're on the 5th season. Although the wait is well worth it to maintain the quality.

The Unity ep is good. I like the Evil Morty eps, especially when he takes power. They give us lots to speculate about his origins, and if the last episode is any indication, it looks like he's going to become a major plotline.

Adult Swim has cut ties with Justin Roiland in the wake of the news that the Rick and Morty co-creator was charged with felony domestic abuse in Orange County.

Adult Swim distributes Rick and Morty, the hit adult animation comedy that Roiland co-created and executive produced, and for which he voiced both the titular Rick and Morty. As The Hollywood Reporter reported on Jan. 17, Adult Swim isn’t even halfway through a massive 70-episode order for the show, one of the brand’s most popular titles, commissioned by the channel in 2018.

I very much enjoy Solar Opposites and am wondering about the future of both shows. Hope there will not be a large drop-off in quality but we must wait and see.

The other show on Hulu which you mentioned may be "Koala Man". Haven't watched it yet but I understand that Justin Roiland has much less involvement with it.

Looking at Depp yeah he has support but he's not better off compared to of if wasn't cancelled in the first place think of all the movies and money he lost out on because of being cancelled and compare that to what he's recovered now from being uncancelled...if anything the Depp cancel proves my point that the damage Depp endured is still not recovered from yet if ever...

I've never been a regular watcher, but I read an article in Psych Today or something that broke down, very comprehensively, the Pickle Rick episode. Without ever seeing the show, just reading this episode synopsis, it sounded especially well done, and funny. Deeper than typical shit. Too bad it's probably as Aidan said, fun while it lasted. I must go watch the past seasons now. Irrespective of the outcome, the thing has turned and it won't turn back, I think. Like how Scrubs sucked after all the Scrub people left.
