Here are my brief thoughts after watching Phoenix Marie's debut Blacked scene. Overall I think the scene was fine, though it felt tame to me - that's not surprising as its not a BlackedRaw scene. Phoenix Marie is aging out of the industry. It is no surprise that she is trying to pull out all the stops to try and grab the last bit of cash as she can from the porn industry: from the botched BBL surgery, so eloquently described by other posters on this board, to her lawsuit against Danny D and Aylo (formerly MindGeek). Her lawsuit against Aylo is interesting because the Zaawaadi is claiming that Phoenix Marie was the person who gave her the pills that caused Zaawaadi's medical emergency. If that is true, it seems like Phoenix is scamming Aylo in the same way that a litigious scammer might intentionally pour water on the floor of a grocery store, fake a slip and trip, and sue the grocery store for causing the accident. Or is it a case of Munchausen's by Proxy? It will all come out in court, but it seems to me that Phoenix is having a mid life/end of career crisis and this latest surgery is clear evidence of that.
